• Assess the hairs

First, determine the type of eyebrow or eyelash hair and choose the correct processing time.

Eyebrows

• Coarse, thick, or dense eyebrow hairs: Serum 1 for 5 to 8 minutes, Serum 2 for at least 6 to 8 minutes
• Natural, healthy, or previously chemically treated eyebrow hairs of average thickness: Serum 1 for 3 to 5 minutes, Serum 2 for 6 to 8 minutes
• Multivitor: 5 minutes for all hair types

Eyelashes

• Coarse or straight eyelashes: Serum 1 for 6 to 10 minutes, Serum 2 for at least 6 minutes
• Average or fine eyelashes: Serum 1 for 3 to 6 minutes, Serum 2 for at least 6 minutes
• Multivitor: 5 minutes for all eyelash types

Please note: Serum 1 and Serum 2 should not be left on for more than 15 minutes. At higher room temperatures, the reaction time may be faster.

• Prepare for the treatment

Clean the eyebrows, eyelashes, and skin with ÉLAN Detox Mousse 2.0. Remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water. For a lash lift, place the silicone pad on the eyelid and fix the eyelashes to the pad with ÉLAN KiwiFix Lash Lift Fixing Balm.

• Shape the eyebrows or create the eyelash curl with Serum 1
• Apply Serum 1 to the eyebrows or to the curling zone of the eyelashes. Let the product work according to the chosen hair type. Do not exceed the recommended processing time. Then, remove the residue with a cotton pad moistened with water for eyebrows, or with a dry brush in the direction of eyelash growth for eyelashes.
• Fix the shape with Serum 2

Apply Serum 2 to the eyebrows or eyelashes. Lay the eyebrow hairs in the desired direction or apply Serum 2 in a thick layer to the eyelash zone. The processing time for Serum 2 should be the same as for Serum 1, but never less than 6 minutes. Remove residues according to the treatment.

• Nourish with Multivitor

Apply Multivitor to the eyebrows or eyelashes and leave on for 5 minutes. Then, remove the residue with water or with ÉLAN Detox Mousse 2.0 if coloring is to follow.

• Coloring and finishing
• If a tinting treatment is to follow, apply the dye mixture immediately after cleaning. Please note that dye may develop faster and appear more intense after lamination. After dyeing, use ÉLAN Colour Fix 2.0 to seal the result.

Aftercare

• Avoid henna and bleaching of the eyebrows after the treatment
• Avoid sauna, steam room, solarium, water contact, and mechanical pressure for 24 hours
• Do not brush eyebrows and eyelashes for 24 hours
• Avoid scrubs, peels, alcohol-based lotions, and laser treatments for 48 hours

Precautions

• Perform an allergy test 48 hours before the treatment. Do not use the product if you have hypersensitivity to ingredients, skin damage, rash, or irritation in the eyebrow or eye area. Serum 1 contains thioglycolate and Serum 2 contains hydrogen peroxide. Wear protective gloves, do not use metal tools, and avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water.
