Buff Browz Dual TGA System Step 2

Buff Browz x Lashes Dual System is a professional TGA-based dual system for brow lamination and lash lifts. The formula has been developed with precision pH technology and nutrient-dense ingredients not often found in other TGA systems.

Buff Browz Step 2, within this professional Dual TGA System, follows Step 1. Step 2 solution is formulated with hydrogen peroxide as an active ingredient and is designed to neutralize Step 1 LIFT and set the hairs in their new, restructured shape.

Fixation and care in one step

While Step 2 fixes the bonds and defines the new direction of the hairs, the formula also helps keep the hairs nourished, conditioned, and protected. The nutrient-rich composition supports the strength, hydration, and overall condition of the hairs during the treatment.

Instructions

For lamination, it's crucial to understand your client's hair type. It takes experience to correctly assess different hair types and determine the appropriate processing times accordingly.

Use the manufacturer's processing times as a guideline

The manufacturer's processing times are a good starting point, but not a one-size-fits-all solution for every client. As a trained professional, it's important to carefully observe how the hairs react during the treatment.

Visual inspection over relying solely on the timer

By developing this skill, you elevate your technique, reduce the risk of damage, and ensure that every treatment is fully tailored to the client for the best results.

Understanding processing times and real-time assessment

Processing time varies per client. This depends on several factors, such as:

• The thickness, density, and porosity of the hairs
• The natural growth direction of the hairs
• The client's desired result

The time of passive processing is over. Active assessment is essential to achieve safe, effective, and consistent results.

Why visual assessment is important

Brow lamination

During Step 1, it's important to regularly check how the eyebrow hairs are moving.

If you're nearing the end of the recommended processing time and several hairs are not yet relaxed or lying flat against the skin, they need additional processing time.

If only a few stubborn hairs lift from the skin after removing Step 1, a spot lamination may be necessary.

Lash lifting

How to visually assess lashes during Step 1

The most effective way to assess if Step 1 has processed enough is by performing a 'lash check'. Use tweezers and gently bend the lash downwards.

What to look for?

If the lash forms a U-shape, it is not yet sufficiently processed and needs more time.

If the lash bends into a V-shape with a clear kink, this means that the disulfide bonds have been sufficiently broken down and the lash is ready for the next step.

Guidelines for lash lifting

• Fine lashes: 5 to 7 minutes
• Normal lashes: 7 to 9 minutes
• Coarse lashes: 9 to 11 minutes

Guidelines for brow lamination

• Fine hairs: 4 to 5 minutes
• Normal hairs: 5 to 6 minutes
• Coarse hairs: 8 to 9 minutes

Please note: Step 2 always follows the same processing time as Step 1.
